H2flow Controls is seeking a motivated Engineer with a growth-mindset to join our growing team and help drive the development of innovative pool and water-management technologies. This on-site role is ideal for a collaborative, hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to go above and beyond to deliver high-quality results. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support product design, testing, and continuous improvement, taking ownership of challenges from concept through execution. At H2flow, we value engineers who are not only technically capable, but who also bring energy, accountability, and a team-first mindset to everything they do.
This is a full-time, on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including engineers, designers, and technicians) to develop and iterate on product prototypes from concept to production.
Oversee and direct external contract engineers employed by the company to ensure tasks are completed to acceptable standards and within required timeframes.
Design and optimize components for manufacturability, ensuring seamless transition from prototype to scalable production.
Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings.
Integrate and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Modbus for hardware systems and IoT devices.
Prototype components using 3D printing technologies, iterating designs based on testing and feedback.
Assist in project management tasks, including timeline tracking, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication to ensure on-time delivery.
Conduct design reviews, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Support testing and validation processes to meet industry standards and performance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
1-5 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates with strong internships or academic projects will also be considered).
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
Hands-on experience with design for production (DFP) principles, including material selection, tolerances, and assembly processes.
Familiarity with Modbus protocol for industrial automation and device integration.
Basic knowledge of Arduino IDE and embedded systems.
Experience with 3D printing technologies (e.g., FDM, SLA) and rapid prototyping workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
Excellent communication skills for documenting designs and presenting ideas.
Experience in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Knowledge of additional manufacturing processes, such as CNC machining or injection molding.
Exposure to electronics integration, sensors, or embedded systems.
Passion for control systems, flow measurement, and emerging industrial technologies.
